Frequently Asked Questions

When is the event? The event will be held on Saturday March 23, 2024. Please see the home page and social media for the start and end times.
Who is the Organizer? The event is organized by Northside Irish Culture & Arts, a 501c3 non-profit organization, EIN 88-2615274.
How can I participate? There are several ways for you to support and join in this fun family day including:
- Being an Event Sponsor;
- Donating individually;
- Participating in the parade and/or festival;
- Being a Vendor in the Festival Market;
- Volunteering for the parade and/or festival.
Where is the Parade? The parade will begin at the intersection of Lake Forrest and Mount Vernon Highway, and proceed East on Mount Vernon to the City Green. It will then turn left on Galambos Way, proceeding around the back of the Green and ending at the intersection of Galambos Way and Sandy Springs Circle. Floats and vehicles will then proceed to exit onto Sandy Springs Circle and return to the marshaling or other parking areas. Please see the event map for additional details.
Where is the Festival? The Festival will occur on and around the Sandy Springs City Green, opposite Sandy Springs City Hall on Galambos Way (see event map for location).
How long does the event last? The Parade will last 45 minutes. The Festival will be open for approximately 5 hours.
Is there a charge for admission? There is no charge for spectators at the Parade or Festival.
Where do I park? Parking is available in the CitySprings garage – 2 hours free then $10 flat rate. There is also some street parking available between Mount Vernon and Hammond on Sandy Springs Circle, along Hildebrand, and Bluestone Road.
Is the event rain or shine? Yes, it is a rain or shine event. The organizers reserve the right to cancel in the event of an extreme weather situation.
